It can't be easy being famous from the minute you're born but celebrity status is often thrust upon the children of worldwide names.
North West was the first of the four children Kim Kardashian and Kanye West consummated during their eight-year marriage, and despite being just 12, she's showing off some new looks that make her appear far older.
Although some would argue that it is nobody's business, many have taken issue with Kim's parenting, especially when North showed off an unusual piercing on her knuckle at a basketball game earlier this year.
Kim has joint custody with Kanye, and considering the way he has gone off the rails since the divorce was finalised in 2022, it's fair to suggest that he might not be the best of influences for his pre-teen daughter.

The rapper, who was once regarded as one of the best in the music industry, has gone viral for all the wrong reasons, sharing some horrific tweets on X where he claimed to be a Nazi, before producing an album which included titles such as 'Heil Hitler' and 'Free Diddy'.
Unsurprisingly, that saw the 48-year-old's second wife Bianca Censori also file for divorce, which I think everybody would agree isn't the best environment for a child to grow up in.
Anyway, after previously shocking fans with some potentially inappropriate outfits and her piercings, the 12-year-old has now shared images to her shared TikTok page with Kim where she has two face tattoos, a number of piercings, a black grill over her teeth and her blue hair in braids.
Now, it's difficult for me to compare as I was lambasted by my own father for getting a nose ring at the age of 24 but most of a certain age would certainly agree that kids simply wouldn't get away with that sort of thing 10 or 20 years ago.
But Kim has regularly defended her daughter's right to express herself, and even claimed that plenty of other kids are doing the same, which frankly makes me glad that my school days are long over, as I'm not sure I could pull off that look at all.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the media personality spoke about her daughter's recent viral outfit in Rome, where she donned a corset and mini skirt combo.
She said: “It’s really hard and it’s really interesting because all the kids are wearing the same things. But then my daughter tries to wear it, and then I’m like, ‘OK, we’re never wearing that again.’ Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
“She does listen to me, but in other areas, I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is.' You know, it makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her.”
“I just think anyone that’s raising kids, especially four kids by myself, I’m doing the best that I can,” she added.
