Kim Kardashian divides F1 fans with outfit as she makes Grand Prix debut to support Lewis Hamilton

Now, I'm certainly not one to tell celebrity socialite and fashionista Kim Kardashian what she should be wearing but it seems as if F1 fans aren't happy with her latest outfit choice.

The influencer headed to Monaco for the latest Grand Prix to support her new boyfriend Lewis Hamilton and plenty weren't happy with the billionaire's brazen appearance.

Naturally, the 45-year-old has made something of a career out of capitalising on shock factor, whether it was the original sex tape or the pictures of her behind that promised to break the internet back in 2014.

But, at an event where viewers are expected to wear their 'most glamorous and sophisticated' outfits, it seems as if lots of those who tuned in were surprised with what Kim picked from her wardrobe.

The businesswoman donned a revealing black top and a pair of blue jeans, which you might expect to see on a first date, but perhaps not at the sporting equivalent of the Met Gala.

One user wrote: "Kim Kardashian in Monte Carlo for the Grand Prix, where Lewis Hamilton will race for Ferrari The outfit…Not exactly Grand Prix appropriate."

Others seemed more annoyed simply by her being there, particularly after the official F1 account shared a video of her, as if we haven't seen every other celebrity attend some of the biggest sporting events over the years.

One X user posted: "Me looking at the current state of the sport that i grew up with turn into a trash cash grab."

Another added: "Kim Kardashian wearing a Ferrari headset doesn't seem real."

However some took a more sympathetic and calm approach to the matter, as while it might well be Kardashian's first Grand Prix, she's likely to attend a fair few more if her relationship with Hamilton lasts.

"Well, when famous people usually come to the paddock for exposure. At least she has valid reason to come. I mean, just see her as driver's partner. Like how we see Leclerc's wife, Albon's fiancee, Sainz' girlfriend, etc," another user posted.

Kardashian was seen in the paddock, where the dress code is perhaps slightly more relaxed, and she clearly made the most of that by appearing elegant but also comfortable in her clothing.

As long as she's not taking anything away from the race, then there really is little point in complaining, although if she's planning on coming to the hospitality suites at Wimbledon later this summer, she might have to step it up a notch.

After making their first public appearance together at the Super Bowl earlier this year, it seems as if the handsome couple are getting along well, and Hamilton will be hoping that his new beau can bring him some good luck on the track after a mixed start to life with Ferrari.
