Lana Rhoades has explained the heartbreaking reason why she 'thinks' her real name is Lana.
The former adult film star, 27, only had a short stint in the industry, but her videos remain all over the internet, despite her preference to have them taken down.
She began her career in 2016 and claims to have only filmed eight month's worth of content in two, four month stints, on her way to becoming the most searched star on Pornhub in 2019.

In a recent interview on YouTube channel 'Curious Mike', Lana opened up on how she went from waitress, to club dancer, to porn star very quickly.
Aged just 17, Lana claims her father signed papers to allow her to work at a 'restaurant similar to Hooters'.
"He signed the paper so that I could work there because it's a restaurant where you have to wear a sexy outfit and I wasn't even 18," she said.

"So that was my first kind of job where men sexualise you and look at you in that way.
"And I never thought that I was like pretty or anything growing up, so I was like 'wow they hired me here, like I'm pretty enough to work here'.
After becoming 18, she went on to work as a dancer at a club before moving into porn.
Lana - who suffers from borderline personality disorder (BPD) - also spoke about her real name 'Amara' and why she doesn't use it.

"It might be like going back to the BPD thing, you really don't have like a sense of identity so I've never really resonated with having a name, like even when I was a dancer I had 'Farah' as my name and all my friends called me that, that I knew from the club, or Amara, which is what my family calls me," she explained.
"I think when I have boyfriends, sometimes they switch on and off from using Amara or Lana, um but I just, I really don't notice and sometimes I actually do think that my name is Lana."
Lana previously opened up about one the worst things she ever had to do during a conversation on the Three Girls One Kitchen podcast.

She said: "One of the worst... honestly, I feel like I'm in denial sometimes and I can't accept some of the things that I've done.
"There was one thing that, ya know, I tried talking to a therapist about before. Something that I had to do for a scene that was really rough for me.
"Basically, this guy had a bowl and he, like, gagged me until I threw up into it and he, like, p***ed in the bowl, and during the scene he asked me to drink it, and I didn't know how to say no."
