Lily Allen weirdly describes David Harbour's 'hand technique' that showed 'he wanted to be intimate'

Lily Allen weirdly describes David Harbour's 'hand technique' that showed 'he wanted to be intimate'

The couple got married in 2020

According to Lily Allen, when her husband David Harbour first started courting her he wowed her with a special hand technique.

The celebrity couple tied the knot in 2020 in a Las Vegas ceremony presided over by an Elvis impersonator, because if you're going to do a celebrity wedding, you'd best do it in style.

Depending on which version you believe, they either first got together backstage at a talk show or they found each other on a dating app.

Harbour said he'd been working in London on Black Widow and started messaging with Allen, who was over in Italy at the time.

They ended up going on a date and he said she was 'f**king unbelievable'. In a good way, obviously.

If you're wondering what the dating app was, it was a platform called Raya, which is an exclusive one members have to apply to be on.

You didn't think they just happened to swipe each other on Tinder, did you?

Anyhow, Lily Allen had some things to say about how her future husband swept her off her feet.

Speaking on the Miss Me? podcast, Allen said she'd been on a couple of dates with her husband-to-be when he introduced her to his 'hand technique'.

She said: "We'd been out for dinner a couple of times and then the third time I went out with him we went to the theatre to go and see The Lehman Trilogy.

"It's a very long play, it's in three parts, there's two intervals. I think it was in the first bit of the play, the first third, he just like grabbed my hand and started like stroking it - almost like f**king it with his hand or something.

"It was the most intense thing. I was, like, very English 'oh my goodness, this person likes me - they want to be intimate with me.'

"And then he like whispered in my ear, I guess it was obvious the first third was coming to a crescendo, he was like 'shall we just, like, get out of here?'

"It was really hard to get tickets to this play as well. And then we left, and the rest was history."

David had some good things to say about their third date as well, having previously told GQ Hype: "I remember the exact moment.

"It was our third date. I was just in this phase, where I was like, I'm just going to be brutally honest about everything, because why lie?

"And I told her something about my life, about my beliefs.

"It would take a really extraordinary person to be accepting of the things that I said. And I remember thinking 'wow, that's somebody I want to be around'."

In more recent news in their relationship, Lily Allen has ended up selling pictures of her feet on OnlyFans, leading her husband to ask her: "Is this a kink for you?"

She's said it isn't, but explained: "I’m finding this quite empowering because having been sexualised from a very early age and literally everyone else profiting from that sexualisation, it is actually really fun to be in power and in control."
