If there were ever two famous people who would be a blast to hit the town with in their heyday, Lindsay Lohan and Lily Allen would certainly be up there with the greats.
They were quite the pair of party animals back in the day, so you can only imagine what kind of stuff they got up to when they were together - as I'm sure we would all have liked to have been a fly on the wall for those antics.
However, Lily doesn't look back on all of their boozy behaviour fondly, as she reckons that her movie star pal, 38, is the one to blame for the 'beggiest thing she's ever done' in her life. Take a look at this:
For those who don't know, the London-born singer ended up striking up a friendship with Lindsay in the late 2000s when the Parent Trap star began dating Brit DJ Samantha Ronson.

The disc jockey is the sister of Grammy-winning artist Mark Ronson, who is also a close pal of Lily's, so this foursome were quite the formidable force in Hollywood from 2008.
The 'Smile' songstress, 39, even got a matching tattoo with Lindsay to commemorate one of their inebriated adventures, but she has revealed that she was left 'very angry' with the actress after finding out where she got the idea from.
During a recent episode of her Miss Me? podcast, which she hosts alongside TV star and best pal, Miquita Oliver, Lily discussed how she ended up regretting the inking several hours after getting it.
Revealing that she would link up with Lindsay when she found herself in Los Angeles, Lily explained: "There was one night where we'd been partying and I was staying at the Chateau Marmont hotel, which is a legendary Hollywood hotel.

"And my managers had stationed my security outside my room, because they knew how much of a terrorist I was, in terms of just like going out and partying till the early hours of the morning.
"I had to be up the next morning to be on this radio show, but it was an early record so we had to get up and do hair and makeup at like six in the morning...but Lindsay knew her way around the hotel!
Lily said: "Lindsay climbed over the back wall of the hotel into my garden where my room was. She was like, "Pst! Come on let's go, this way!

"So we escaped through the back and jumped over the wall and then went to the Shamrock Tattoo Parlour on Sunset Boulevard and got matching friendship tattoos on our fingers that both said 'Shh' on it."
Nothing too 'beggy' about that so far, right?
"I thought it was quite cool for like seven hours," Lily continued. "Until I woke up the next morning and saw on Perez Hilton the headline: 'Lily and Lindsay copy Rihanna'.
"That's literally the beggiest thing that I've ever done in my life - gone with Lindsay Lohan to beg friend Rihanna by getting copycat tattoos."

Although she claims that Lindsay 'sold it to her as an original idea', the Barbadian hitmaker was in fact the inspiration for the inkings - and Lily reckons it made them look as though they were 'begging' for her attention and hoping to become friends with her.
The mother-of-two has since got the tattoo on her finger changed to the year she was born, 1985, although she doesn't know if Lindsay is aware of this tweak.
"We haven’t really spoken about it, but she has made contact with me recently," Lily said. She wants to make friends again. I’m quite up for it."

She told Miquita: "Lindsay and I - it was quite fraught for a bit between the two of us. I can't really remember why, maybe because I was close to Samantha and things got a bit heated between them too.
"But now things are really nice, she texts me sort of intermittently when she's around in New York. She's producing stuff, she's very supportive on social media, always likes my pictures and comments under things. I love Linds!"
Time - and tattoo coverups - heal all, it seems.
