Logan Paul spoke about how he lost the respect and friendship of his idol Dwayne Johnson in an interview with John Cena.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer was speaking with WWE legend Cena in an episode of his podcast Impaulsive last year and became emotional when discussing how one mistake cost him his relationship with The Rock.

Johnson, who returned to WWE earlier this year, had become acquaintances with the influencer during the 2010s and the duo even filmed some viral content together which, according to Paul, reached over 50 million views.
However, the American actor later deleted all his videos with the YouTuber and asked, via his publicist, for Paul to do the same after the content creator made a costly mistake, which had a huge toll on him personally and financially.

Paul, who became a dad for the first time last year, was almost holding back tears as he spoke of letting down his followers, family and his idol after a trip to Japan in 2017.
The Prime co-founder received huge backlash seven years ago when he visited the Asian country for a vlog, which was initially posted on New Year's Eve in 2017 before later being taken down.

Paul and his friends visited the Aokigahara forest at the base of Mount Fuji, known to be a frequent site of suicides as part of the video, and incomprehensibly decided to film the body of a man who had sadly taken his own life.
YouTube quickly cut some business ties with Paul, who was 22 at the time, and he later apologised on Twitter (now X), suggesting that he was 'misguided by shock and awe'.
But that clearly wasn't enough for his hero to forgive him, and they seemingly haven't spoken since.
Speaking on the podcast last year, Paul said: "I would've considered us acquaintances at least. He was great, and then Japan happened. I could go into so much depth about my remorse, the place that I was in and the faults that I made at that time in my life. I had to really rewire my brain and backtrack and ask myself how I let that happen.

"What went wrong in my life where I thought that was ok? I've had to do a tremendous amount of therapy to figure out what happened, or didn't happen, in my life that was so traumatic that [I could do] that."
He went on to explain why The Rock was keen to cut ties with him, making reference to the fact that Johnson's own mother had attempted suicide in front of him when he was just a teen.
Paul added: "DJ (Dwayne Johnson) was one of the people I hurt because of his mother's experience. I hurt him so much so that he basically wanted nothing to do with me.
"And rightfully so. I let down my hero. He requested that I remove all the content we've ever done together and basically kicked me to the curb.

"|t was such a low moment because I knew I let myself down, I knew I let my fans down, I knew I let my family down. But my idol too, it just stunk so bad."
LADbible has contacted Dwayne Johnson's representatives for comment.
