Mark Wright admits he thought the rudest 'big, big, big' Hollywood star he interviewed was a 'stitch up'

The mysterious star didn't take a liking to Mark

Let’s be honest, we’ll all happily sit back on our sofas at home and list of the celebrities we think are the ‘rudest’ or the biggest ‘divas’ – despite having never met them.

But perhaps actual celebrities aren’t too scared to admit that they too share similar opinions of their fellow stars. Although, it might be that some of them are so ‘rude’ they don’t even believe it.

Like when Mark Wright interviewed a ‘big, big, big’ Hollywood film star and thought he was being stitched up because of their attitude.

To be fair, I guess we’ve all seen enough episodes of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway to validate being suspicious of that kind of thing.

During his appearance on the Private Parts podcast (when Jamie Laing was still hosting it) last year, the 37-year-old chatted about his time presenting on Extra TV.

The Made in Chelsea star asked him who the ‘biggest diva’ is that he’s come across while interviewing, and it didn’t take him too long to think of someone.

“It’s an English Hollywood actor. I can’t tell you how bad she was to me,” Wright said.

He’d been chatting to the mysterious star as a junket for a TV show when he asked how series two compared to the ‘violent’, ‘aggressive’ and ‘bloodbath’-like first series.

“She goes, ‘Let me just repeat what you just said, okay? Violent. Bloodbath. Aggressive. I look at someone like you how I look at someone who would masturbate over a romantic sex scene in a movie. When actually, that’s art',” Wright recalled.

The ex-TOWIE star did explain that he was actually pretty unprepared for the interview as it had been a last minute arrangement.

“Bearing in mind I’ve not seen it [the show],” he adds, “So I’m thinking my producers are f**king stitching me up, there can’t be a bloodbath. But the others have answered it normally.”

Apparently the star then called him a bit of a ‘male chauvinist’ and when she asked if he had anything else, the bloke couldn’t decide how to react.

“I paused for about 10 seconds and I was like ‘do I say what I want to say or do I just be polite and get up and walk off?’,” he explained.

“I can’t f**king hold my tongue. She’s a big, big star right? So I looked down and I went that’s it, that’s all I’ve got.”

This led to her apparently calling the thing a ‘waste of time’ - although not for her, for Wright. Ouch.
