One of Matthew Perry's Friends co-stars has claimed she received a 'beautiful' sign from the actor following his tragic death.
The 54-year-old - who was best known for the character of Chandler Bing in the iconic 90s sitcom alongside Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer - passed away after being found unresponsive at his home in Los Angeles on 28 October, 2023.
His death was later ruled as an accidental drowning and caused by the 'acute effects of ketamine'.

Five people were later arrested in connection with his death, three of whom have since pled guilty to charges.
Perry's co-stars have since shared their touching memories of working with the actor, with one Friends star saying she'd received a sign from the 17 Again star after his passing.

Speaking about Perry's death during an interview on an episode of Steve Kmetko's Still Here Hollywood podcast, Maggie Wheeler reflected on the months following her co-star's death.
Explaining that her brother had also died of a drug overdose, Wheeler recalled how she was alone in a friend's pool one day when she believed the late actor had sent her a 'message'.

"Lots of people talk about spirits showing up as birds and other things that kind of send a message when someone passes," Wheeler, who played Chandler's on-off girlfriend Janice, explained.
"After Matthew died, I was in a neighbour’s pool, and I was alone, and there was nobody else around. I was on my back, and I was thinking about my brother, and I said, 'Look out for him' and two hawks flew over my head and flew past me," she explained.
"One circled around and came and got the other one, and it flew past me. So that was a beautiful moment if you go for that kind of stuff."

Perry's family have since set up a foundation in the actor's memory which seeks to provide support for those struggling with addiction.
Named the Matthew Perry foundation in his honour, the charity says it is 'guided by Perry’s own words and experiences' when it comes to helping people in recovery.
The actor's family stepfather and sister opened up about Perry's memory on the one year anniversary of his passing last October, saying he had the ability to 'fill up a room with light'.
"When people were in a room with [Matthew], there was this magnetic energy. Everybody just had a smile on their face and they clung to everything that he said," his younger sister Caitlin Morrison recalled.
