Nicolas Cage has made a generous donation while shooting his new thriller Down Under.
News.com.au reported the actor is currently residing in Yallingup, Western Australia, to work on the upcoming film The Surfer.
While the actor is filming in the famous beach town, that didn’t stop him from making a call to Channel 7’s Telethon benefiting Aussie children’s charities.

“A good effort, and what’s more Cage has given us $5,000,” the host told viewers.
According to Perth News, the 59-year-old actor was spotted landing last week before making his way down south with principal photography commencing.
Cage stars as a man who returns to his beachside hometown in Australia after building a life for himself in the US for many years, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Shortly after returning, the man is humiliated in front of his teenage son by a gang of surfers who claim ownership over the secluded beach from his childhood.
‘The Surfer’ decides to remain at the beach, declaring war against those in control of the beach. However, the conflict escalates with ‘The Surfer’ taken to the edge of his sanity.
Offft. This sounds very juicy.
