The father of Ron Goldman who was killed alongside Nicole Brown Simpson in 1994 has spoke out after the death of OJ Simpson.
Fred Goldman told NBC News that the death of Simpson is a 'further reminder of the loss of my son', following the announcement of the NFL star's passing earlier today (11 April).
"On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer," a family statement read.

"He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace."
Simpson became known around the world when was charged with the murders of his former wife and her friend Goldman in 1994.
The NFL player was the prime suspect in the case.

Despite being found not guilty in 1995, Simpson was later found liable in 1997 for the 'wrongful deaths' of Goldman and Brown and ordered to pay Goldman's family $33.5 million (£26m) in damages.
Goldman's father also told the Daily Mail: "The only thing that I have to say today is that this is a further reminder of the loss of my son Ron.
"It is a further reminder of my son's murder and a reminder about the many years we have missed Ron.
"His death is a reminder that Ron and Nicole were murdered by him. I am not going react to my thoughts about him dying.

"I have nothing to say about him. My response will not be about OJ's death but about he loss of my son's life by him.
"Thank you for calling. That is the only thing that I have to say."
