Pamela Anderson revealed she had a girlhood crush on Michael Jackson, but was left 'disappointed' when she met him in person.
There’s always certain someone that we would like to believe we would end up with, whether it’s attainable or not due to them being a celebrity or fictional, in some cases.
For some people, Pamela Anderson could have been that figure, with the Baywatch star becoming sex symbol herself after being cast in the show from 1992 until 1997.

But for Anderson herself, that someone was the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson - now, what a couple that would have been?
However, it wasn’t meant to be.
In an interview with W Magazine, the 57-year-old said she thought he'd 'would want to marry me', adding: "Then I met him, and he didn’t ask me to marry him! I was really disappointed."

They always say never meet your heroes, but perhaps it should also go for celebrity crushes as well?
Even though she didn’t get her wish, she did go on to marry five times instead, while Jackson himself married twice, first to Lisa Marie Presley from 1994 to 1996, then to Debbie Rowe in 1996 to 2000, with whom he had his first two children with, Prince Jackson and Paris Jackson.
Anderson was first married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in 1995 and they share sons Brandon and Dylan.
She then went on to marry Kid Rock from 2006, followed by Rick Salomon, who she married twice (once in 2007 and again in 2014) but both lasted one year.

She also married film producer Jon Peters for 12 days in 2020, and then to Dan Hayhurst from 2020 to 2022.
In 2023, Anderson sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last year to talk about her memoir entitled Love, Pamela and her Netflix documentary called Pamela, a love story, where she was asked by the host if she thinks 'she'll ever get married again?'
She replied: "I hope so. I don't know. I still have a lot of life left."

The former Playboy model made the decision to leave Hollywood as well as reinventing her image entirely by ditching make-up for good.
The Canadian actor explained the reason why in an interview with Better Homes and Gardens magazine, saying: "That was the beginning of me letting go of the image I had always had of myself.
"What is this cartoon character that I’d created? OK, that was fun. But I’m not that person anymore."
