Paris Fury has opened up about her heartbreaking miscarriage and the reason she initially didn't tell her husband.
Tyson Fury is busy preparing for his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk, which takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, tomorrow (21 December). He recently shared that he hasn't spoken to wife Paris for three months in the run-up to the sporting event.
While she’s totally supportive of this, it was during his first match against Usyk that she kept a big secret from him, and for a very good reason.

It was for this fight that Paris told him she couldn't come to the event.
At the time, she had lied about her reason for staying away, but the truth was that she had suffered a miscarriage at six months pregnant with their eighth child, a boy, and decided not to tell him ahead of the bout.
Later, an emotional Fury revealed that he was not told the news before heading into the ring and when he was asked about if he was planning on having any more children, the 6ft 9in boxer answered: “Never say never. I only have seven.

“The one that she was having, she lost that on the Friday of the fight, which was pretty s****y.
“She was six months pregnant. It’s not like a small miscarriage at the beginning – you have to physically give birth to a dead child, on your own, while your husband is in a foreign country. To go through that on your own isn’t good.
“I could not be there for her in that moment. And that’s tough for me. I have been with the woman for longer than I wasn’t with her, so it’s hard that I couldn’t be there with her in that time," he admitted.
Fury went on: "She said she couldn’t come and I asked her what was up and asked her to tell me but she wouldn’t. So I knew, I knew there was a problem. I said to my brother, ‘She’s lost that baby’. She never told me she had lost the baby, but I knew.

"When I got back I got the inevitable confirmation that it was gone but she kept it to herself."
But why did she keep it from him?
It turns out that Paris was supporting her husband, like she always has done.

Paris revealed to the Mirror her heartbreaking reason: “I had to make the decision, do I tell him? And I came to the conclusion that whatever was happening with me, I couldn’t change it. But I could change dramatically what was happening in his life.
“I made up a lie that I had high blood pressure. It was the only thing I could think of that would stop me from flying without having to give him the terrible news.”
She went on to say that she ‘knew there was a problem during the gender scan, explaining: “The sonographer said to me, ‘I’m really sorry, Paris, there’s no heartbeat.’ I jumped up, started to cry, and said, ‘No, hold on, hold on. No, no, wait,’ and went all frantic”.
She added: “At the time it feels like your world is ripped to pieces. But I know everyone can get through it. And what is so traumatic one day, becomes a memory. You know, you had that little piece of life, even if it’s such a short time.

“Mentally I’m at ease with what went on. Physically, I’m OK."
She has now vowed to never miss another fight, and she’ll be in Saudi tomorrow to support him, saying: “I said after the last fight, I’d never miss another one. I think there was just too much going on in his head last time.
"And yeah, I think 100 percent he’ll be coming home with the belt.”
