Many people have swooned over the thought of a steamy rendezvous with Paul Rudd, but according to Aisling Bea, it isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Well, not when an entire film crew have front row seats while you're writhing around in the sheets, anyway.
The Irish comedian and actress, 40, explained that she actually found it extremely awkward to film sex scenes with her Living With Yourself co-star. Take a look at this:
Bea and Rudd star as married couple Kate and Miles Elliot in the Netflix series, which first premiered in October 2019. Their relationship runs into some very strange complications when a struggling Miles decides to undergo a 'strange procedure' at a strip mall spa.

He's promised that it will make him become a better person, but he later discovers he has actually been replaced by a clone who is vying to steal his life - and his wife Kate.
Amid all the chaos which the clone is causing for Miles in the the sci-fi comedy drama, there are some steamy scenes involving Bea and Rudd thrown in too.
And although these snippets might look polished, professional and sexy while your sat watching Living With Yourself at home on your TV screen, the reality was a lot different on set.
According to Bea, having her way with the Hollywood heartthrob was more awkward rather than arousing.

During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show in November 2019, the This Way Up star revealed what went wrong while she was filming with Rudd.
Bea explained: "People are all like, 'Ooo it must be quite erotic doing a sex scene'. And it's not!
"When you do is sex scene, you have to sort of position yourself and do all your bits and bobs and put your legs in the right places so the camera can get you," she went on.

"Then there's like six or eight people - one person with sound equipment and stuff like that - hanging over you, so you're very...it's more like a sort of odd dance move."
To demonstrate just how complicated it can be to get the perfect shot during these scenes, the comedian began contorting herself on the couch while sat next to fellow guest Peter Crouch.
She then explained that fellas are given a modesty sock to help conceal their manhood and 'protect their dignity' to some degree during filming.

"They do the same thing with like your nipples," Bea continued. "They put two kind of [things] that look almost like chicken fillets, stuck to your nipples. It's like, 'Oh, she's not naked now, we'd never know what's behind that!'"
These 'completely adhesive' patches usually tend to stick on and stay there, according to Bea, but for some reason, hers simply would not comply when it came down to the crunch.
The actress explained: "Mine would stay on for an hour and then honestly - it was like magic in a weird way - as soon as they go 'action', they'd just go. I don't know if was pretending to be cool, but my nipples were sweaty," she giggled. "They'd both fall off!"
The first time this happened, Bea says that one cameraman dramatically yelled 'No!' - which she joked was 'not the reaction she wanted to hear, even if it was supposed to be respectful'.

So she upped her game for the second take by slapping a load of talcum powder on her nipples too in the hopes that it might help secure her modesty covers.
She and Rudd got ready to film 'one long take' of the improvised sex scene in front of the film crew, only for her co-star to let out the same yell as the cameraman did.
Bea joked: "Again, I'm like, 'This is completely the wrong reaction to always here 'no' every time'. And he [Rudd] just went like that and held onto them, because there were so many men with cameras, out of dignity.
"Then we spent the rest of the sex scene half doing the scene and half doing that to try and see if we could find where they were."
It turns out they never did find those pesky nipple covers while the cameras were still rolling, as Bea confessed they somehow made their way to 'both of her arse cheeks'.
After hearing about her accidental flashing and her adhesive accessories playing hide and seek, I'm sure you can understand why Bea didn't necessarily lap up every second of filming these scenes with Rudd.
