Pitch Perfect actor reveals he lost a body part while performing sex act in the bath

That's the last thing you'd want to happen

There are plenty of risks involved with sex, but usually people come through pretty unscathed when it comes to keeping their body parts intact.

It's only recently that men have once again been warned about the risks of 'death grip syndrome' which can cause serious problems in the bedroom.

A relationship expert also recently clarified some of the most common sex-related injuries which include pulled muscles (understandable) and foreign objects getting stuck (less understandable) but alas, losing a body part didn't quite make her list.

However, that was the situation that a well-known Pitch Perfect actor had to cope with when he was young as he got more than he bargained for when having a tug.

Adam DeVine, who starred as Bumper in the musical comedy, was exploring his body in the bath when he was 11 and was shocked after a particularly successful session to find that it wasn't just his semen that was floating in the bath alongside him.

The youngster had suffered a horrible accident not long before which saw him break all the bones in his leg after being hit by a truck.

With sports out of the question during his recovery, it's no surprise that he learned to play with his todger but he had perhaps forgotten about a warning from doctors that one of his little toes would either stabilise, or literally fall off, as his body recovered from the incident.

He didn't even realise at first that it had fallen off, but some post-nut clarity perhaps alerted him to the fact he was now boasting just nine toes, and he was left in the difficult situation where he needed his mum's help quickly, but naturally didn't want her to figure out what he had been doing just moments before.

Speaking on the In Depth with Graham Bensinger podcast, Devine said: "So I’m in the bathtub, and I couldn’t stand because of my accident, and I’d just found masturbation, and oh, did I love it, Graham.

"And so I’m cranking down, and it was the first time something had come out, and I’m like, 'What is this?'

"And I’m like, 'Ah! This is fantastic!' But it was floating in the water and I’m like, 'Oh, this is gross'."

The Modern Family actor initially thought he'd 'jerked off so hard my toe had fallen off'.

He quickly realised the gravity of the situation and shouted for his mother, but also urged her not to touch the water, which is difficult when you're fishing for a pinky toe.

It's unclear whether or not his little toe was reattached, but of all the body parts to lose, that would probably the one you'd choose, unless you're an Olympic gymnast who relies on balance.

Either way, he's done pretty well for himself ever since.
