Sarah Paulson has explained why even though she doesn't actually live with girlfriend Holland Taylor, she wouldn't want to move in and have separate rooms.
The American Horror Story star has been in a relationship with Taylor for the past decade, but they don't actually live together.
Paulson, 49, first met Taylor, 81, back in 2005 but they were both in other relationships at the time. The pair publicly announced their own relationship in 2015.
According to People, Paulson's newest relationship started after the 81-year-old slid into her DMs and it just went from there.

The 49-year-old was on the SmartLess podcast with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes when she spoke more about their living arrangements.
Paulson explained that though they actually live separately, there's no way she'd want them to have separate bedrooms in the same place.
She said: "Yeah, we don’t live together. That’s the secret to it. We spend plenty of time together, but we don’t live in the same house.
"We've been together for a long time now. And part of it has to do with, we’re together when we want to be and we’re not when we don’t."

When the idea of them finally moving in together but having separate bedrooms was mooted, Paulson soon nipped that suggestion in the bud.
"No, because my favorite thing to do - we fall asleep holding hands," she said of the importance of being close with Taylor before going on to explain why they weren't actually living together.
"I like to sleep near her, I don’t want to be around her the rest of the time. Just kidding. Holland, before me, hasn’t been in a ton of long-term relationships, whereas Holland is my third.

"I tend to do that and have more experience doing that, Holland hasn’t.
"So to get to be her age and sort of not having really cohabited with someone for a long time - I think it was a lot to sort of have me and all my me-ness in her space."
Taylor had previously spoken about the benefits of the couple giving each other their own space.

She said 'we each follow our own path so we’re not exactly the same', describing Paulson as 'much more social' while she liked 'a little bit of alone time'.
Paulson also said she'd been sent some 'horrifying things' about the age gap with her girlfriend, and argued that she didn't see people 'becoming obsessed' by 'plenty of well-known or recognisable couples, when they’re heterosexual couples'.
