Scarlett Johansson looked as though she wanted the ground to swallow her up when she heard her husband crack a crude joke at her expense.
The Black Widow star was backstage at Saturday Night Live watching her spouse, Colin Jost, do his thing when he made the cringe-worthy wisecrack.
The 40-year-old couldn't stop her jaw from dropping after she heard the wickedly funny punchline during an episode of the late-night live sketch comedy show.

Johansson watched as Jost launched into the 'Weekend Update' segment with co-host Michael Che in the annual Christmas episode.
During the SNL sketch, both of the comedy stars read out wild jokes that they had never laid eyes on before and are presented as gag news items.
Pretty much anything is fair game during these skits - and Johansson has found herself being made the butt of the joke more than once.

But the comedians really upped the ante in the festive episode which aired on 18 December, as they took the mick out of the Marvel star's intimate body parts.
Jost - who looked visibly alarmed when he saw his wife's name flash up on screen - began by saying: "I want to dedicate this next joke to my boo, Scarlett Johansson."
"She's so genuinely worried," he laughed as the camera panned to show Johansson cowering backstage. "Hey, boo!"

Reading from the teleprompter, the 42-year-old continued: "You all know Scarlett just celebrated her 40th birthday... which means I'm about to get up out of there!
"No, I'm just playing. We just had a kid together."
It appeared as though both Johansson and Jost hoped that would be the end of jokes about their relationship - but obviously, that was just the start.
Later in the segment, the SNL star was forced to crack a wild joke about his wife's nether regions, which came much to the amusement of Che.

Jost said: "Costco has removed the roast beef sandwich from its menu - but I ain't trippin'... I've been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid."
As you can imagine, Johansson looked absolutely mortified when she heard her hubby compare her private parts to the popular meat dish, as she gasped: "Oh my God!"
"No, no, I'm just playin', baby," Jost then added through gritted teeth. "You know I don't go downtown!"

The Christmas edition of the 'Weekend Update' really made fans chuckle, and even talk show host Jimmy Fallon was highly amused.
He quizzed Jost about his 'fantastic' performance - which he dubbed 'one of the best he's ever seen' - when he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this week.

Getting the elephant out of the room first thing, Fallon asked: "Are you in trouble with Scarlett?"
"I'm in trouble with a lot of people," Jost then replied gingerly. "Scarlett was genuinely so shocked.
"I was obviously surprised by everything, but they gave her a heads-up. They were like, 'Hey, would you be okay if Michael made a little, like, kind of vagina joke at some point?'
"And she was like, 'Sure! You know, whatever. I'm open to it'. And so then, when it was like the opposite, I didn't know where it was going, and then the graphic came up...
"So Scarlett is backstage like, 'Oh, my God! That's what it is?!'"
Knowing there was a genuine element of surprise somehow makes the whole thing even funnier to fans.
Jost - who got hitched to the actress in 2020 - then insisted he and his wife were not faking their reactions, joking: "I can't act that well!"
