For a fleeting moment in time, Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds were joined in marriage - but neither of them said much about their nuptials.
Which is why fans of the pair got all worked up when the Black Widow actress made a rare admission about their short-lived relationship back in 2023.
These days, she is happily married to comedian and Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost, 42, who she shares her son Cosmo, 3, with.

Johansson, 40, is also mum to ten-year-old Rose, who she shares with former husband and journalist Romain Dauriac, 43.
Needless to say, her short and sweet marriage to Reynolds, 48, is probably a distant memory in Johansson's mind at this point.
Still, she did offer up a brief insight into what she thinks of her ex-husband during an appearance on Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop podcast a couple of years ago.
The health and wellness guru admitted that she had lost track of how many times Johansson had got hitched, as she mistakenly thought she'd only been down the aisle twice.

After the Marvel actress corrected her miscalculation, Paltrow then remembered that Johansson had also said 'I do' to Reynolds in 2008.
The podcast host said: "Oh that's right, because I forgot that you were married to Ryan Reynolds! Goals!"
For those who aren't aware, Johansson and Reynolds largely kept their relationship out of the public eye, while going to great lengths to keep their wedding day a secret.
The Deadpool actor might have been loved up with Blake Lively for the past 14 years or so, but he wined and dined a string of Hollywood stunners before settling down with the Gossip Girl actress.
So, what did Johansson have to say about her two-year marriage to Reynolds?

Not a lot, as it goes - however, what she did spill to Paltrow, 52, was only positive.
The New York-born actress told the host: "We weren't married very long, but we were married when I first met you, for Iron Man 2 or whatever."
Paltrow then chimed in to say: "We love a good Ryan Reynolds in our house," which was met by laughter from Johansson, who then added: "He's a good guy."

While announcing their separation in 2010, the former couple said they were ending their marriage with 'love and kindness', just like they had started it.Their divorce was finalised in 2011.

A year after getting wed to Reynolds, who is now a father-of-four, Johansson admitted that their nuptials 'just kind of happened' - while also revealing why she kept their relationship quiet.
She told Glamour magazine in 2009: "I never really thought about getting married - it just kind of happened. It seemed natural, the right thing to do. It was kind of a celebration of the time."
Johansson then went on to discuss how she didn't exactly enjoy their nuptials being a prominent topic of conversation in the press, either.
"I don't profess to know anything about marriage that anybody else doesn't know, or how to make it right," she said. "I don't want to read about somebody who's giving me relationship advice. So I try to keep some things for myself, to have a private life.
"Because that's kind of all you have, really, isn't it? When it comes down to what separates you from the next person. You don't go to work and talk about your marriage. Why should I?"
