Sharon Osbourne previously opened up about a worrying ‘side effect’ she had suffered after using Ozempic.
The former The X Factor judge has been open about her health surrounding the weight-loss drug.
She’s one of many celebrities who have admitted to using the treatment, with the likes of Jeremy Clarkson and Amy Schumer having shared their experiences of it.

Used to treat Type 2 diabetes (and only approved in the UK for this), Ozempic can be used for weight-loss treatment as it contains semaglutide and can help to regulate a person’s appetite, keeping them fuller for longer as well as often reducing cravings.
And for Osbourne, it seems this has been a lasting impact after stopping using the injectable. The 72-year-old previously revealed she had ‘lost 42 pounds’ in ‘four months’ from it.

The Celebrity Big Brother star started Ozempic back in 2022 and revealed last November she had been off the drug for ‘a while.'
In a podcast with Howie Mandel last year, she was asked if she had a positive experience with the weight loss treatment which she replied: “Yes and no.”

Osbourne explained: “I can't put on weight now, and I don't know what it's done to my metabolism, but I just can't seem to put any on, because I think I went too far.”
She also added during a Loose Women appearance: “Everything on weight with me was like ‘I want it now.' The injections that I was on worked and just seems now I can't put anything on.”
The star continued: “I lost over 40lbs, If I could I would put back another 10.
“I’m just an ordinary person who got lucky and I didn’t take advantage of that. I never want to forget I am blessed and been really lucky in my life.”

During an old experience on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast, she shared why she decided to try Ozempic: “You have a weight problem, and you’ve tried everything, and then somebody says, 'Take this injection and you’re going to be skinny.’”
Osbourne also further spoke of the side effects she experienced while taking it: “You’re not hungry, but for me—it’s different for everybody—but for me, the first few weeks were f*cking sh*t because you just throw up all the time and feel so nauseous.
"After a couple of weeks, it goes, and you’re just fine. You feel fine, just not hungry."
The most common side effects of Ozempic can include: nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, vomiting and constipation.
