Forget the Kansas City Chiefs' efforts on the football field, as Taylor Swift fans reckon the pop star's 'superstition' is the reason the team earned a spot in the Super Bowl.
The 35-year-old, who is in a relationship with tight end Travis Kelce, is getting all the credit for the Chiefs' triumph over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday evening (26 January).
The Missouri side's 32-29 win secured them a spot in this year's Super Bowl, which takes place in less than two weeks time on 9 February.
Swift and Kelce, 35, celebrated the news with a snog on the football field.

And according to Swifties who have taken to social media, the 'Bad Blood' singer's outfit choice had a lot to do with the Chiefs success.
Stepping out in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton, the Pennsylvania-born pop star sported a black and gold monogram jacket, a black beanie, a pleated miniskirt, red tights and ankle boots.
It turns out that Swift actually wore one of these items at last year's AFC Championship game too - and her fans now believe it must be a good luck charm for the Chiefs.

In a post on X, one said after comparing her two looks: "Is she wearing the same pleated skirt as last year??? Superstitious queen."
Another added: "Wait is this the same skirt from last arc champs??? Oh she's def superstitious."
A third speculated: "I think it's the same skirt she wore a year ago omg."
While a fourth hypothesised: "I feel like Taylor is superstitious like us and will wear her hair curly and similar if not same outfit from when they won last time."

As you can see, it's not the $10,200 price tag of her get up which has got people talking, but rather the fact that Swift opted to repeat an element of one of her previous outfits.
Last year, she wore the supposedly lucky skirt with a red cashmere crew neck and black tights.
Whether the stylish miniskirt has mystical powers or not, it certainly did the job, as the Chiefs have secured a spot at the Super Bowl for the third year in a row.

The team are hoping to make NFL history by triumphing in three consecutive years, but they just have to beat The Philadelphia Eagles first.
I guess we all better keep our eyes peeled for what Swift wears on 9 February then, folks.
