Viewers are convinced Tommy Fury ‘has never watched football’ after watching his bizarre throw-in during yesterday’s (9 June) Soccer Aid match.
The Love Island star took to Stamford Bridge alongside the likes of Jill Scott, Danny Dyer and Paddy McGuinness for the charity game.
And just like an episode of the dating show, Fury had Iain Stirling commentating (alongside Sam Matterface) over him on ITV.

The boxer came on as a sub for the Rest of the World XI in the match that saw England win 6-3. And hey, after Friday’s display, we’ll take this as a win for England.
Except even despite it not being the most professional display of football, fans couldn’t believe the ‘state’ of Fury’s technique – if we can even call it that.
The 25-year-old had the duty of throwing in the ball and he started off by holding it up above his head and deciding where to aim it, you know, as you would in a regular football match.

But for some reason, Fury then suddenly moves it to waist-level and bowls the ball into the pitch, almost like he thinks he’s a goalie. Or like he thinks he’s down the bowling alley aiming for a strike.
Pretty quickly the ball was then thrown back for a team-mate to do it properly.
And while he might have edged away with it quickly on the pitch, he definitely didn’t get away with it on X as fans absolutely ripped into him.
“Look at the state of this throw in from Tommy Fury.” one person said.

Someone joked: “How can he not know how to take a throw in? Might as well ask for some bowling shoes while he’s out there.”
Some users asked: “Has Tommy Fury never watched football?” while others were left ‘absolutely speechless’.
Another person even joked: “Tommy Fury with one of the greatest throw-ins of all time in tonight’s Soccer Aid.”
A fourth wrote: “Dude has probably never watched a game of football in his life.”

One commenter said: “He might be a good bowler.”
Although one did write: “Seen worse in the Premier League this season, tbh.”
But many did point out that the match is all for a bit of fun and is ‘a charity match for non professionals to help kids’.
And some think he purposely ‘rolled it out for the other player to take’.
