A male porn star has highlighted the one problem he has to encounter in his love life due to his career choice.
Tommy Gunn, 57, is known for his extensive work in adult entertainment, having appeared in over 2,500 adult films since joining the industry in 2004.
Two decades since his first appearance, Gunn is actually heavily decorated as a performer, even being inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2016 - one of the highest levels of commendation that you can get as an adult star.

It's a heavily demanding job though, with actors and actresses in Hollywood getting nowhere near the astronomical total of 2,500 films in their career - they'd be lucky to reach even one percent of that.
Despite popular belief, it's more than just having a good package, if not there would be more successful male porn stars.
However, one negative has risen from Gunn's lifestyle, as when he's not having sex with women on camera, he does have to go home and lead a 'normal' life.

And it's there where the problem lies, as he recently spoke about the problem surrounding relationships in an interview with Holly Randall on her YouTube channel, with the industry legend saying that fame and fortune don't help when you're trying to build a life with someone.
In fact, Gunn damningly admitted that becoming a porn star requires a buy-in: your personal life.
Real name Thomas Joseph Strada, he revealed that he was married to someone before becoming an adult star, and also remarried a fellow porn star after his adult film debut.

He stated: “Your buy-in is your personal life and your intimacy.
“That’s what you're going to sacrifice. You're leveraging all those things."
Gunn said that he doubted his decision at times, taking this 'action between two people which should be cherished', as a means of income.
“For me to wake up and say ‘A'right sweetheart? I’m going to kiss you and then go and have sex with a stranger,’ that's kind of strange,” he admitted.

He also touched on a problem that only he and his fellow porn stars may experience - his partners feeling like they 'needed' to have sex with him before he set off to work.
He further explained: “I’ve had them say ‘I want you to have sex with me before you go to work,’ because in their psychology it’s marking their territory.
“That’s not conducive for me. If I was a boxer or something, why would I box the day before I got a big boxing match coming up?”

Gunn also said that he wouldn't want to do that if he's dating someone in the industry, as you're essentially tiring them out before a day of work.
“The last thing I want you to do, honey, is go to work and be sore and worn out cuz that's what happens. For a guy or girl it’s the same – even though we're designed differently it's the same friction at the end of the day,” he concluded.
