If you've just finished watching the Beckham Netflix documentary, you might be shocked to learn that Victoria almost married a burglar alarm fitter before meeting David.
David and Victoria famously first met in 1997 while Becks was still playing for United at Old Trafford.
"We talked for about an hour in the players' lounge and then she actually got the train up that day, so she wrote her number down on her train ticket, which I still have," David previously recalled on The Tonight Show.

As they say, the rest was history and the duo are now happily married with four children: Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12.
However, things could have been so different.
Back in 1994, just after Victoria auditioned for the Spice Girls, her then-boyfriend Mark Wood popped the question.

They both met when she was a 14-year-old schoolgirl at St Mary's High in Cheshunt, while he was working for her parents' electrical company.
Victoria was even living with Mark at his parents home in Hertfordshire.
But before the pair tied the knot, Posh decided to end their six-year relationship just as the Spice Girls were starting to get big.
"It wasn't the right person for me, I wasn't enjoying myself, so that had to end," she once told Big Breakfast host Denise Van Outen.

"It was a very special relationship," Mark also confessed to The People in 1997.
"But that part of my life is over," he continued. "It's sad because we were together for a long time. But she's got what she always wanted and I'm proud of her."
Sadly, their bond was well and truly over when Mark opened up about their sex life in 2004 Channel 5 documentary Victoria Beckham's Secrets.

Reports suggest that Mark was apparently furious when Posh told ITV documentary, Being Victoria: "For some reason we got engaged. He was an alarm engineer. If only he'd stayed in that cupboard that I met him in at my mum's house."
At the time, a Channel 5 spokesman reportedly said: "As they always say, revenge is a dish best served cold. Mark has never spoken before in public about his relationship with Victoria but feels it is time to set the record straight.
"Mark was quite hurt by what she said and doesn't intend sparing Victoria's blushes."
Well, it seems that eagle-eyed viewers of Netflix's new David Beckham docu-series think they have spotted a huge flaw in the story of how David and Victoria met.

Footage from the first episode shows Victoria watching her future husband play for Manchester United.
But when Posh is seen on the pitch at Old Trafford, the camera cuts to David scoring - at a totally different stadium.
The clip is actually from a match at Stamford Bridge in London, which took place weeks after.
Better luck next time, editors.
Elsewhere in the doc, the Beckham family discuss a wide range of topics, from falling out with Sir Alex Ferguson to his alleged affair years ago.
