Warwick Davis has apologised for causing concern after a post announcing his break from social media.
The Harry Potter actor’s wife recently died, aged just 53 and he described her as having a ‘super-power’ like presence in his life.
Davis met Samantha on the set of TV series Willow back in 1988 before marrying three years later.

Together, they share children Annabelle and Harrison, and their eldest, Lloyd, tragically died at just nine-days-old in 1990. They also lost son George due to a miscarriage at 19 weeks.
Their children recently issued a statement to the BBC and have now posted on Davis’ X account following his last post.
At 10pm last night (21 April), the Idiot Abroad star posted: “I’m done here, Signing off. [heartbroken emoji].”

And this seemingly caused some concern from fans over his wellbeing as many told him to ‘stay strong’ and to ‘take care’.
Following that message, Annabelle and Harrison took to his account to clarify what it meant as they wrote: “Thank you everyone for looking out for our Dad, he is taking some time away from social media.
“He apologises if his last message caused anyone concern. We appreciate all of your love and support, Annabelle and Harrison x.”
Fans flooded the posts with ‘love’ as they sent ‘deep condolences’, and one said: “He doesn’t need to apologise and thank you for your message. Sending [love and prayers] to you all.”

Announcing Samantha’s death on 19 April, Davis said: “Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs.
“She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life. She had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes.
“Without Sammy, there would have been no Tenable quiz show, no Willow series. No Idiot Abroad series 3.”

The star added that she was his ‘most trusted confidante and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career’.
Annabelle and Harrison also said: “Mum is our best friend and we are honoured to have received a love like hers. Her love and happiness carried us through our whole lives.”
Samantha featured in a number of TV shows and films during her career, such as a goblin in 2010's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and 80s children's show Through the Dragon's Eye.
In 2012, the couple founded the charity Little People UK, which works to help people with dwarfism and their families.
