Jada Pinkett Smith revealed that she and Will Smith are rebuilding their relationship after recently revealing their separation.
The news first took the world by storm when the Matrix: Reloaded star admitted in an interview with Today that she and Smith had been separated for several years.
She told the publication: “We’re still figuring it out. We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together.

"We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.”
And now, she has now revealed that the two are actually ‘working very hard’ to rebuild their marriage.
She said: "We are working very hard at bringing our relationship, yes, bringing our relationship back together... back to a marriage again.

"Husband-wife marriage for me, for my healing process. I came into that with very specific ideas, right? Very specific ideas that were blocks. To me just seeing Will to who he is. He can't be this perfect idealised husband."
Adding: "I have to be able to accept him for the human he is. He accepts me for the human that I am, and we want to love each other there. We really have been working hard."
It also came as a shock to the Today show presenter, Hoda Kotb, who responded with: “Oh! Okay. Well, I didn't know that.”
Pinkett Smith continued: “That's the point I was trying to tell you. You totally missed that, that's the whole thing.”

The interviewer then clarified that what she meant was that they were not divorced on paper or 'in theory', which Pinkett Smith confirmed to be the case.
In a previous interview talking about her marriage, she said: “By the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying."
She had also spoke previously in the past about how she didn't want her marriage to Smith in the first place.

Despite their separation, Pinkett Smith said she wouldn't be getting a physical divorce, adding: “I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce.
“We will work through whatever. And I just haven't been able to break that promise.”
And the Men In Black star has reacted to his wife's revelations.
Writing to the New York Times after reading her memoir, Worthy, Smith said: “When you've been with someone for more than half of your life a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”
