Euphoria Actor Chloe Cherry Was In Porn Parody Of Show Before She Was Cast

She made a successful career in the adult film industry before moving into more 'prestigious' content

Chloe Cherry featured in a porn parody of the HBO show Euphoria before being cast in season two of the actual TV series.

Cherry's character Faye appears in the latest episodes and the actor revealed the information during an interview with Nylon.

She had made a successful career as an adult film star before slipping into less risqué content with stars such as Zendaya and Hunter Schafer.

She said: "My friend and I, who’s also an adult movie star, we were just both huge fans of the show and we thought that that one scene [with Zendaya's Rue and Schafer's Jules] was just so beautiful.

"When you're making a porn parody, the best way to make them is scenes like that, where they're already insinuating that sex is about to happen.

"So that's usually what people would want to see in terms of a porn parody.

"Fans really, really liked it. They thought it was awesome.”

Cherry also said director/writer/creator Sam Levinson had given her the part because he thought she seemed funny after discovering her on Instagram.

She had already been a huge fan before her first audition - hence the porno.

She said of the experience filming the show: “Everybody's so beautiful and so nice, and they all have amazing personalities, and they're all so talented.

"It was just so much talent in one room, so much sense of humour and just great sense of fashion.

"Everyone's really smart and very just, creative and talented.

"So it was super, super cool to see everyone in person, but it was even cooler that they're such cool people, you know?"

Despite a seemingly steep transition between porn and a 'prestige' TV show, Cherry claimed she never saw any real difference in it.

She said: “I’m an actress, just through and through an actress. I’ve acted for a long time.”

According to Nylon, Cherry intends to continue starring in non-pornographic projects too.

She hopes Euphoria will provide a platform for her to act in films and other TV shows in the future.

She said: “I just really, really hope that other directors see that in me and are inspired to put me as basically anything."
