After more than 60 episodes across five seasons, Breaking Bad pretty much wrapped up all loose ends before it left our screens back in 2013 - all except for the fate of a certain henchman.
However, fans of the hugely successful series get pretty excited after spotting the name of the latest episode of spin-off show Better Call Saul.

It’s been almost 10 years since the finale, and Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul) were back on our screens.
Breaking Bad fans were also relieved to have finally found out what happened to Huell Babineaux (played by Lavell Crawford).
He was last seen in the episode To’hajiilee, where he was duped and taken to a safe house by Hank and Gomez who told him Jesse had died and Kuby was missing. And that was it.
We never got to see what happened next, with many fans joking that he remained in the house forever more.

However, in last night’s episode of Better Call Saul - titled Breaking Bad - a scene with Saul (played by Bob Odenkirk) revealed how Huell was doing.
In the scene, which was set after the events of Breaking Bad, Saul asks his ex-assistant about Huell’s whereabouts only to be told: “I guess back home in New Orleans. DEA held him under false pretences or something. Last I heard, he walked.”
Fans who tuned in were delighted to learn what happened to Huell, with one posting: “Better Call Saul just answered the BIGGEST question from Breaking Bad… HUELL WALKED and isn’t in the safe house anymore!”
Another wrote: “The biggest cliffhanger in all of Breaking Bad has finally been resolved!”

While someone else joked: “Oh good… someone remembered to go back and let Huell out. Had us all worried for 9 years.”
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about ending Huell’s story, episode director Thomas Schnauz said: “It was weird. I feel like I wanted somebody from the universe to get away and kind of be happy.
“They had set Huell up with the fake photograph and they lied to him about the circumstances, so he felt like the easiest one to be able to walk away from all this.”
Back in 2015, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan explained what he thought would have happened to Huell in Breaking Bad: The Official Book, saying: “It’s likely that Agent Vas Oster keeps in touch with DEA headquarters. So, when he learns that Gomez and Hank have gone missing, he would in short order tell his superiors what they were up to. Within a matter of hours, really not that many in story time, Huell will be taken back to HQ.

They’ll question him, find out what he knows – which isn’t much – and he’ll be let out on the street. Right now, he’s doing what Huell does best, whatever that is. He’s out and about as a free man.”
