Top Brit male adult star reveals downsides of his job and explains how it 'ruined his marriage'

Danny D said having sex with his wife after work was like 'clocking on to the night shift'

It's not often we get to hear about the personal lives of people working in the adult entertainment industry - but it's juicy when we do!

Popular male porn star Danny D opened up about his career and its impact on his marriage on the Saving Grace podcast.

After establishing a successful career in the adult industry, he candidly shared details about how his work has affected his home life.

On the YouTube podcast, host GK Barry asked if he still feels the desire for sex after a long day at work.

"It's a different type of sex," Danny - whose previously shared how he flabbergasted his mates with the size of his package - said, but admitted that it has caused problems in his marriage.

Leaving work at work and still maintaining a personal sex life can be difficult. Despite this, his now ex-wife was very understanding of his work at the time they were married.

"It was a working relationship," the British 37-year-old explained. "She very much understood that this was my job."

He also pointed out that it's not very common for people to understand as there's a 'huge misconception in the industry.'

He added: "A lot of people think I just go into work and it's just a giant orgy.

"It couldn't be further from the truth, to be honest."

Once you're in the industry, 'you realise that it's just a job' like another other.

That said, Danny often felt pressure to keep the excitement going in his personal life after work.

He joked saying that coming home to do the deed was like 'clocking on the night shift', which can be pretty exhausting.

Later on in the podcast, Danny answered a viewer's question about how porn stars manage to keep their professional and personal lives separate.

He shared that it's possible if you 'make an effort' to draw that line.

It’s easy for boundaries to blur - especially if partners don’t see the difference - but having a partner who understands it helps.

The podcast has reached over 1.5 million views on YouTube alone since it was released in July over two years ago.
