Gina Carano has settled her lawsuit against Disney after she claimed she was 'fired' from hit show The Mandalorian.
The actor, 43, filed the suit in California last year and has since thanked Elon Musk for 'funding' the wrongful termination case against the conglomerate.
Carano, who has been previously cast in the likes of Deadpool and Haywire, said she was dropped from the Disney+ show for expressing right wing views on social media.
It was alleged in the lawsuit that she was wrongfully terminated from the series after two seasons because she said on X in 2021 that being a Republican in the US to like being a Jewish person during the Holocaust.

Lucasfilm previously said her comments 'denigrated people based on their cultural and religious identities.'
However, the case, which was scheduled to go trial in February 2026, has now been settled but still needs to be formally dismissed by a judge.

Taking to X on Thursday (7 August), the TV star thanked the Tesla founder for supporting her case.
This is despite the fact that they have never met.

"I want to extend my deepest most heartfelt gratitude to Elon Musk, @elonmusk a man I’ve never met, who did this Good Samaritan deed for me in funding my lawsuit," she penned.
"Thank you Mr. Musk and @X for backing my case and asking for nothing in return.
"I am excited to flip the page and move onto the next chapter," Carano added.
"My desires remain in the arts, which is where I hope you will join me."
Lucasfilm also released a statement and said that it 'looks forward' to working with the actor again.

"Ms. Carano was always well respected by her directors, co-stars and staff, and she worked hard to perfect her craft while treating her colleagues with kindness and respect," the film company said.
"With this lawsuit concluded, we look forward to identifying opportunities to work together with Ms. Carano in the near future."
Carano's legal team accused Disney and Lucasfilm of having 'targeted, harassed, publicly humiliated, defamed, and went to great lengths to destroy Carano's career.'
Her lawyer Gene Schaerr, a managing partner at Schaerr Jaffe, said at the time: "Disney bullied Ms Carano, trying to force her to conform to their views about cultural and political issues, and when that bullying failed, they fired her.
