Yes, it's the Met Gala, one of many opportunities for celebrities to dress up in all their finery and strut their stuff down the red carpet, or sort of toothpaste-y carpet in this case.
Some famous faces are so intent on getting there with their outfit unknown that they'll even get wrapped up and carried into their cars to dodge photos leaving the hotel.
Still, once they actually arrive all eyes will be on them, and while that's often a chance to see some of the most famous faces in the world wearing the height of fashion, it can also lead to them getting caught out.

For those who can't make it to the event themselves, there's always the chance to watch it on the livestream, but plenty have spotted Doja Cat in the background appearing to have a vape.
It's the rapper's first Met Gala, where her outfit appeared to be inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s pet cat, Choupette.
The night's theme is 'Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty' in tribute to the late German fashion designer who died in 2019.
Cat is wearing a silver skintight gown from Oscar de la Renta, while the rest of her outfit features a feathered train along with a backless design and a built-in head covering with cat ears.
She's also got cat-inspired prosthetics on her face, accompanied by cat-eye make-up and a diamond hanging on her forehead.
Speaking to Vogue she said: "I feel relaxed here. Maybe it’s the beige. I feel very calm, it’s very nice. Miaow."
However, she could have landed herself in trouble by lighting up a vape as 'no smoking' is one of the major rules celebrities have to follow for the Met Gala.
The famous faces you see strutting their stuff at the Met Gala do have to follow certain rules including 'no selfies' and 'no smoking'.
The latter rule got highlighted in 2017 after Bella Hadid, Dakota Johnson and Marc Jacobs were spotted smoking in the toilets, and celebrities had to be reminded that it's 'illegal to smoke in the museum'.
Neither smoking nor vaping are allowed in or around the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Some people thought spotting Doja Cat puffing away on a vape was 'the funniest thing', while others reckoned she was 'probably not gonna be invited again after this'.
Others were here for Doja vaping when and where she wanted, saying 'just let our girl be', while more urged her to hang on until later and 'do that after baby'.
