After losing their first child to SIDS in 2002, Elon and his wife, Justin Wilson, used IVF to give birth to twins Griffin and Xavier Musk in 2004. They were joined by triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian in 2006.

Following failed relationships with Westworld actress Talulah Riley and Amber Heard, Musk started dating the alternative musician Grimes in 2018.
