After losing their first child to SIDS in 2002, Elon and his wife, Justin Wilson, used IVF to give birth to twins Griffin and Xavier Musk in 2004. They were joined by triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian in 2006.
Musk and Wilson then divorced in 2008 and they currently share custody of their five children.
Following failed relationships with Westworld actress Talulah Riley and Amber Heard, Musk started dating the alternative musician Grimes in 2018.
In May 2020, Elon and Grimes welcomed their first child, X Æ A-12 and In December 2021, he was joined by Exa Dark Sideræl Musk. As of March 2022, Elon and Grimes are no longer together.

Elon Musk signed the Giving Pledge in 2012, which entails a promise to donate a majority of his wealth to charity and the billionaire Elon donated $5.7 million last year to an unknown cause.
