It turns out no one was left more shook up than Elvis himself during his infamous 1968 Comeback Special on NBC.
According to the musical special’s producer, Steve Binder, Presley made an oopsie in his own pants while performing on stage... and no, we aren’t talking about that kind of oopsie.
The star reportedly had an orgasm through the excitement, forcing costume designer Bill Belew to gather up ‘all the hairdryers he could find’ in a bid to dry the stain, and understandably, the anecdote has left people feeling... unnerved.

Watch an explainer about the whole thing below:
An extract from Binder’s book, 68 Comeback Special, in which he described the incident recently emerged on TikTok when social media user @existentialcrisishaver shared a post captioned: “If I had to be cursed with this knowledge so do you.”
They explained: “So here’s a fun Elvis fact I learned against my will. We all remember the leather suit from the movie, right? I remember that because of how awesome Austin Butler looked in that suit.

"But the actual suit that Elvis wore for the comeback special, let’s just say ‘comeback special’ would be the correct description.”
Holding up Binder’s book, @existentialcrisishaver continued: “[Here] we have Steve Binder’s 68 Comeback Special book. Let’s take a special journey to page 96.
“‘[Reading from book] Now there are a lot of rumours that when Elvis came backstage after the first session he was dripping with sweat from the hot lights, when Bill Belew [took off] his shirt and pants, he discovered that Elvis had orgasmed during his performance.
"All I can remember is Bill running up to me, pants in hand, showing me the caking stain and asking me what he should do to remove the semen from inside the leather pants.”

The TikToker went on: “Bill was freaking out because he didn’t know if there’d be enough time to dry the pants before the next session.
“He gathered up his wardrobe staff and all the hairdryers he could find to get the job done. I learned another ‘director lesson’ at that moment, never make just one pair of clothes for any star.”
Needless to say, people were slightly, *ahem*, weirded out by the info, with one person writing beneath the clip: “Everything I learned about this story was against my will.”

Another person added: “I have so many questions but I don’t wanna know the answers,” while a third said: “i could've went my whole life without knowing that fact.”
Other comments included: “No actual way”, “I learned this ages ago and suppressed it. What have you done” and “OMG IS THIS WHY HE WAS GRUNTING SO MUCH?”
