The full trailer for Netflix's Enola Holmes 2 has just been released and promises us more capers and crime solving from Millie Bobby Brown's brilliant young detective.

Watch the trailer here:

Based off author Nancy Springer's series of young adult novels, the detective caper staring Millie Bobby Brown as Enola, younger sister of genius detective Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill), is back for a second helping.

In the first film Enola tracked down her disappeared mother Eudoria (Helena Bonham Carter) while foiling her brother Mycroft (Sam Claflin) in his plans to send her off to finishing school.

In the trailer we see Enola trying to become a brilliant detective of her own by opening her own agency and tackling her first big case by tracking down a disappeared sister.

Meanwhile, Sherlock is having trouble with his latest mystery and it turns out that their crimes share a connection which will lead them to work together and combine their brilliant minds.

Cavill is back to reprise his role as Sherlock Holmes, as is Bonham Carter as mother Eudoria, found safe and sound by Enola during the first film.

Also returning are Louis Partridge as Viscount Tewkesbury, Adeel Akhtar as Inspector Lestrade and Susie Wokoma as jujitsu instructor Edith.

Not spotted in the trailer is Sam Claflin, which is a bit of a shame if he's not in the sequel as he's previously said he'd quite like to go back and do another one.

A sequel to Enola Holmes was first announced last year, with Netflix declaring on Twitter that the young detective would be back for more adventures.

With seven books written in the Enola Holmes series there are plenty more adventures that could be had if Netflix is looking at doing even more movies in the future.

The 18-year-old actor is set to make history with her fee for starring in the movie, with a reported $10 million salary for Enola Holmes 2 heading her way.

It would be the highest upfront fee ever paid to an actor younger than 20 and a huge sign of Netflix's confidence in the success of a sequel.

When the streaming service released details last year of their most popular movies of all time the original Enola Holmes made the top 10 with a whopping total of 190 million hours of people's time spent watching the film.

Enola Holmes 2 hits Netflix on 4 November.
