People go to the pictures to get the full cinematic experience while watching a film - as having your popcorn in hand, lolling back in a comfy seat and sipping an Ice Blast just doesn't hit the same in the comfort of your own home.
The flicks have got humungous screens and state-of-the-art sound systems that are no match for our little tellies, so there's no question about which is a better viewing experience in terms of technology.
However, the beauty of watching a movie at home is that you don't have to worry about other cinemagoers completely ruining the entire thing for you with their annoying habits.
Actor and film fan Aadi Mudhar knows this all to well - and just like we have dining etiquette or plane etiquette to be polite to our peers, he reckons we should all abide by cinema etiquette too.

He shared a TikTok explaining that he has a pet peeve regarding how other people behave in the pictures - which a lot of us are guilty of.
So you just better hope that Aadi isn't already seated in your screen if you break his golden rule when heading to the movies - as this bloke doesn't mess about when it comes to movies.
He admitted that he does take 'cinema etiquette very seriously', so some people might reckon he's being a bit dramatic - but he says that he is 'pretty religious' when it comes to films, so a cinema is a somewhat sacred place to him.

Aadi explained: "I've got to be sat in my seat before the film stars, I can't walk into a film if it's already started.
"I'd never do that."
Although he might have vowed to never turn up late to a screening, it doesn't mean the rest of the world has - and low and behold, a load of people arrived way after the film he was watching had begun.
Aadi continued: "That's fine, I'm not a hater like that. Just because I can't go to films late, I'm not going to stop other people from coming in late - but just be respectful if you're going to be coming in late.

"Be mindful that there are other people sat down watching the film."
Much to his dismay, the group went on to commit what he regards as a cardinal sin in the cinema.
Aadi said that the latecomers flooded in while 'waving their flashlights on their phone' to find their seats - and basically put on an impromptu, and unwanted, light show as he was trying to get into the movie.

He added: "It's not our problem you're late! That's on you! You've got to shuffle around in the dark and figure out where you're meant to be sat. Being honest, it is such a distraction.
"And they'll be talking while they are finding their seat! The movie has started! We're sat down, your late, shut up!"
The majority of social media users were right behind him and said seeing a phone torch light up mid-movie is something which drives them insane too - while others shyly confessed they were guilty of the cinematic crime.
One person said: "It feels like it has gotten worse recently. Very frustrating."

Another said: "Cinema etiquette has gone down the drain so much!"
A third added: "I had a guy take a phone call and talk loudly on his phone for a good minute once."
A fourth chimed in: "Your rant is completely justified. I agree with you 100%!"
While a fifth wrote: "I've never felt so passionately about something."
