Normal People star Daisy Edgar-Jones has revealed the bizarre addition which added ‘added a little something’ to a kissing scene she filmed with Sebastian Stan.
Since her breakout role in the adaptation of Sally Rooney's 2018 novel alongside Paul Mescal, Edgar-Jones has enjoyed a promising career in film and TV. She's chased tornadoes with Glen Powell in Twisters, played the lead role in Where the Crawdads Sing and co-starred alongside Marvel star Sebastian Stan in horror-thriller Fresh.
Unsurprisingly, the 26-year-old's dazzling filmography has left fans all wondering one thing: Who is the better kisser? Paul Mescal or Sebastian Stan?

We're not joking.
During a 2022 interview with British GQ, Edgar-Jones went undercover and responded to a series of fan queries on the internet, which included one curious follower asking: 'Daisy please we need to know who kisses better, Sebastian or Paul?'
Truly the question which is on all of our minds.
Unfortunately for this one particular fan (and likely several others across the world) Edgar-Jones wasn't too forthcoming when it came to rating her co-stars' smooching abilities, joking: "Erugh, that's a naughty question."

"I just simply cannot say, both were lovely," she added.
Despite keeping the finer details kissing the two actors a secret, Edgar-Jones did reveal an unusual thing which occurred during filming with Stan.
Fresh follows the story of Noa (Edgar-Jones) who, after feeling disillusioned with the world of online dating, takes chance on a charming stranger named Steve (Stan) who she bumps into.

Unfortunately this turns out to be a major disaster as Steve is actually a human meat harvester, who lures young women into a trap and cuts pieces off of them for wealthy clients to consume.
Shooting for the film took place during March 2021 in Canada, which was during the height of the Covid-19 restrictions (something which we'd all much rather forget).
Considering that lockdowns and restrictions were in place across the country during this time you can imagine that kissing a co-worker wasn't something which was happening often, even in the world of acting, which meant that Stan and Edgar-Jones were given extra precautions.

"Because we were filming during Covid, they gave us this antibacterial mouthwash," the actress revealed.
"It made our mouths foam... That added a little extra something."
Now I don't know about you, but foaming at the mouth isn't usually the reaction you'd want after kissing someone. But the pandemic years were truly an extraordinary time.
