Harry Potter fans are being urged to hit play on Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone at exactly 10.32pm on Christmas Eve.
"This is an extremely specific request," I hear you say.
Well, there is method in the madness.
Harry Potter fans have discovered a secret Christmas message from Ron Weasley buried in the first ever film that was released.

Potterheads have been particularly excited in recent weeks, after a trailer for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was released ahead of 2024.
Anticipation is rife due to fans only being able to read the addition in book form, or watch it at the Palace Theatre on the West End.
But it seems as though there wasn’t much to get their hopes up about, as convincing as the trailer was, it was one of AI’s clever creations.
Much like fans who were expecting a release of Home Alone 3 starring Macaulay Culkin, only to later find out that trailer too was generated by AI.

During the trailer, we see a spooky looking Hogwarts while (presumably) Harry’s little lad asks: “Dad, what if I have got into Slytherin?”
And then, despite the character dying in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Dumbledore appears.
“Memory is everything,” he says, “without it we are blind.”
Back in 2022, Radcliffe said to The New York Times that another Harry Potter is ‘not something [he is] really interested in doing right now’.
Although he did include: “Never say never.”

Even if we're not going to be treated to a new film next year, Harry Potter is on many people's festive watchlists for its Christmassy vibes - and you can make it extra special by hitting play at 10.32pm on 24 December.
A clip shared by an eager fan on TikTok revealed what would happen by starting Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone at exactly 10:39:52 pm on Christmas Eve.
Following the precise time stamps, it seems as though Ron will wish Harry a ‘Happy Christmas’ at exactly midnight for your viewing pleasure, and just generally festive spirit.
Can you think of a better way to start the big day?

Fans in the comments were happy about the revelation, one said: “Not all heroes wear capes!! Thank you.”
Another fan, who had planned their Christmas Eve already, said: “Let’s do this on our Christmas sleepover!”
A third, who is clearly a Potterhead, added: “Well I know what I shall be doing on Christmas Eve!”
