The original Home Alone is no doubt at the top of most Christmas movie lists despite coming out nearly 35 years ago.
But with it being such an old film, a number of actors have seemingly passed away since the movie was first released.
A total of 17 actors who featured in at least one of the six films have died and some of them you'll definitely remember.
Billie Bird
Advert
Fans of the first film might remember Billie Bird, who made a cameo as Irene at the airport.
Kate McCallister (Catherine O'Hara) attempts to buy a plane ticket from her after realising that Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) is missing.
She offers her $500, a First Class upgrade, a pocket translator, a fake Rolex, a ring and her earrings.
Bird was mainly known though for her roles in Sixteen Candles and Dennis the Menace.

The actor died at the age of 94 in 2002 from Alzheimer's Disease.
Roberts Blossom
Again, from the original film is the Old Man Marley character, played by Roberts Blossom.
Advert
Kevin's brother Buzz (Devin Ratray) claims Marley murdered his whole family and mummified their bodies.
But for the viewers who thought that was a little far fetched for a kids film, it turns out that he was just a lonely old man who no longer sees his family.
Appearing in the likes of Escape from Alcatraz and Deranged, Blossom passed away at the age of 87 in 2011.
Eddie Bracken
Advert
The comedy actor was someone we all wished we knew when we were younger, after starring as toy shop owner Mr. Duncan.
He ran the Duncan's Toy Chest in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
Bracken died from surgery complications in 2002.
John Candy
Advert
Comedy legend John Candy, most commonly known for starring in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, played Gus Polinsky, polka king of the Midwest.
The actor died at the age of 43 while filming Wagons East in 1994.
Clarke Devereux
Only OG fans of the first movie will remember Clarke Devereux as the police officer who goes to check up on Kevin at the house.
"Tell 'em to count their kids again," the policeman said.
The actor died of cancer in November 2021.
Bill Erwin
Bill Erwin features in Home Alone as Irene's husband Ed, who doesn't fall for Kate's bribes.
He famously said: "She's got her own earrings, a whole shoebox full of them — dangly ones!"
The Texas actor died at the age of 96 in 2010.
Ralph Foody
This guy has one of the most quotable movie lines of all time and if you grew up in the 90s, everyone would be saying it at school.
"Keep the change, ya filthy animal!" was used as a response to pretty much anything, even if it didn't make sense.
The actor named Ralph Foody starred as Johnny, the gangster in parody movie Angels with Filthy Souls.
He died from cancer in 1999 aged 71.
John Heard
One death that might surprise you the most is Kevin's father Peter who was played by John Heard.
We didn't know much about the dad, apart from the fact he was rich enough to take his whole family on holiday on a regular basis. Also, he was able to afford a massive house.
Also known for his roles in Big, Awakenings and The Sopranos, he died of cardiac arrest in 2017, aged 71.
Marian Seldes
Fans of the third Home Alone movie might remember Mrs Hess, the grumpy neighbour of Alex (Alex D. Linz).
Played by Marian Seldes in 1997, the film starts with Hess picking up the wrong shopping bag at San Francisco airport.
In her bag, which was picked up by Alex, was a toy car containing a secret microchip bound for North Korea.
Instead, she took home a loaf of sourdough.
Seldes died in 2011 aged 86.
