Jenna Ortega was 'comfortable' filming sex scenes with her older co-star Martin Freeman in a new erotic thriller, according to the film's intimacy coordinator.
Miller's Girl is the latest movie in Ortega's catalogue, and it might have caused the most controversy among the public.
Following its release in US cinemas on 26 January, a lot of people have wondered why the actors even signed up for the thriller.

The movie sees Freeman as creative writing teacher Jonathan Miller, with Ortega as his 18-year-old star pupil Cairo Sweet.
When Miller starts giving Cairo preferential treatment and seeing her outside of school, a dangerous infatuation develops between teacher and student.

Will Miller see reason before he crosses a line? (Spoiler: Nope).
The viral scene between the two showed Freeman bending Ortega over a bed while he strokes her dress and grabs her hand, and fans were left deeply disturbed due to their 31-year age gap.
Viewers on social media have called the scene 'weird' and 'gross', with some saying that they 'can't watch' the film because of the scene.
The director has hit back at critics since, and despite the backlash and criticism, Ortega was seemingly unbothered during filming.

And now the movie's intimacy coordinator has said Ortega was totally up for filming the scene which has caused all this fuss.
Intimacy coordinator Kristina Arjona told DailyMail.com: "There was many, many people throughout this process, engaging with [Jenna] to make sure that it was consistent with what she was comfortable with, and she was very determined and very sure of what she wanted to do."
She said that her job is to support the actors' decisions, especially on a film like this when the age gap between the stars is so vast.

Kristina states that the team consistently checked in with the stars to ensure no boundaries were being surpassed, especially with Ortega, who is just 21.
Both Ortega and Freeman were part of discussions over the 'level of nudity' and the 'additional barriers' that would be used to maintain an 'appropriate distance'.
Kristina also explained that numerous discussions took place with cast, crew and even test audiences later on to see if anything was 'too much'.

"For this film, in particular, because of the sensitivity of the content, they had some different variations of how they wanted to shoot these scenes so that audiences could watch them at test screenings to see what was too much." she concluded.
Unfortunately for those involved in the production, the film only has a score of 32 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and just 5.5/10 on IMDb.
If you are eager to see the film, it is set to drop on Amazon Prime Video on 19 February.
