Saw X has just teased its first look into Jigsaw’s chilling return to the big screen, and you might want to sit down for this one.
Lionsgate shared a sneak peek into the tenth film in the horror franchise that shows Tobin Bell reprising his role as Jigsaw/John Kramer.
A synopsis for the upcoming movie was also released, revealing that John Kramer travels to Mexico for a risky experimental procedure hoping to cure his cancer.

However, John discovers that the treatment is an operation designed to scam those at their most vulnerable.
Armed with a newfound purpose, the serial killer returns to his work, capturing the con artists in his ‘signature visceral way through devious, deranged and ingenious traps’.
The film is set between the events of Saw and Saw II.

And for those who can’t wait, good news, as Lionsgate has said the tenth instalment will hit theatres on September 29 - a month ahead of its previously announced release date.
Bloody Disgusting reported that the film would be directed by Kevin Greutert, who previously helmed Saw VI (2009) and Saw 3D (2010).
Along with Bell, the cast for Saw X also includes Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Joshua Okamoto, Octavio Hinojosa, Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, and Michael Beach.
While the famous villain was killed off in 2006’s Saw III, Jigsaw/John Kramer has appeared in all of the films in the franchise in flashback sequences.

The only exception to that rule was Spiral, which followed a Jigsaw copycat serial killer.
According to Digital Spy, following Lionsgate's announcement that Bell would return as Jigsaw, producers Oren Koules and Mark Burg said: "What a thrill to be reuniting with Tobin. His performance as John Kramer is part of the magic that made this franchise a phenomenon and his character is an active part of this film.
"We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love."

And how right they were, as the first peek of Bell’s return had Saw fans absolutely drooling.
One fan begged on Twitter: “I need a trailer ASAP.”
Another said: “Forget Barbenheimer this is way better.”
While a third shared: “I think it’s time for a full franchise rewatch with a ranking of all the movies! A perfect way to set up Saw X!”
