A popular video game streamer has claimed that she was cut from the new Minecraft movie after publicly criticising Jason Momoa.
The Game of Thrones star features alongside Jack Black and Jennifer Coolidge in A Minecraft Movie, which has proven a big hit with younger audiences since it was released in cinemas last week.
Several video game streamers including Daniel DTM, Aphmau, Mumbo Jumbo and LDShadowLady made brief appearances in the hit film, which is the biggest video game adaptation opening weekend of all time, overtaking The Super Mario Bros. Movie which came out back in 2023.
However, the hugely popular American streamer 'Valkyrae' has now suggested that her 30-second cameo was cut, seemingly in the wake of the comments she made about Momoa on a stream last year.
While Momoa's character is far different from the usual muscle-clad action hero we see him portraying, Valkyrae seems to suggest that his behaviour off-set was more Khal Drogo than Garrett Garrison.
Last year during an appearance on JasonThe Ween’s YouTube channel, she was asked about some of the celebrities she had worked with that she didn't particularly get along with.
As per NME, she said: "How do I say this… I have a cameo in A Minecraft Movie and I would have to say Jason Momoa.
“I saw him mistreat some of the crew, it was pretty disappointing. It was after an intense, emotional scene so maybe he was still in character but I was surprised by how he treated some of the crew.
"He was just really mad at them and yelling. This is not a good work environment. That’s the worst celebrity thing I’ve seen.”

In her own stream, the 33-year-old doubled-down on her claims.
She said: “I would much rather not have that 30 second [cameo] than be sued. It really could have been so much worse.”
It would be easy to hate on a film that you'd been cut from, but it seems as if she still enjoyed seeing the beloved cubic world on the big screen, despite her off-screen clash with Momoa.
Valkyrae claims she was cut from the film (Olivia Wong/FilmMagic) She added: "Let’s just say, I’m not going to touch too much on it. As much as you guys saw the other creators that were in it, that would have been the equal amount you would have seen me. It’s 30 seconds, so it’s OK. It really was a wonderful 10 days in New Zealand for that 30 seconds.”
“I thought it was good. I was surprised some people didn’t like it. I think you guys are trolling to make me feel better but it’s a cute Minecraft movie.”
LADbible has approached Warner Bros and a representative for Jason Momoa for comment.
