Heads up - this contains some pretty big spoilers for Saltburn, so if you’d rather avoid them, this your warning.
Saltburn's Barry Keoghan has admitted he was a bit hesitant about the movie’s final scene, in which he appears completely naked.
The black comedy has been dubbed the ‘most disturbing’ of the year and even led to one woman having to issue an apology to her family after putting it on for them to watch on Christmas Eve.

It centres on student Oliver Quick (played by Keoghan) who is invited by his super-rich classmate Felix Catton (played by Jacob Elordi) to spend the summer at his family’s stunning estate, Saltburn.
Directed by Emerald Fennell, the R-rated film also stars Rosamund Pike and Richard E. Grant.

A synopsis for the flick explains: “Academy Award winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell brings us a beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire.
“Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton, who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.”
The movie has plenty of controversial scenes, including one in which Oliver drinks some of Felix’s semen after he masturbates in a bathtub.
Can you see why that woman had to apologise to her family now?

Anyway, at the end of the movie, Oliver reveals that he’s managed to carefully orchestrate a number of tragic deaths at Saltburn, leaving him the sole inheritor of the Saltburn estate.
To celebrate the success of his devious and deadly plan, Oliver strips and dances through the stately home to Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s, Murder on the Dancefloor.
Talking to Entertainment Weekly about the film back in November, Keoghan admitted that he had some reservations about stripping off on camera.

He told the publication: “The initial thing was about me having no clothes on. I'm a bit, ehhh.
"But after take one, I was ready to go. I was like, 'Let's go again. Let's go again.' You kind of forget, because there's such a comfortable environment created, and it gives you that license to go, 'All right, this is about the story now.'"
The star then added: "I didn't know I could dance like that, by the way. I was like, 'Wow. Where did them things come from?' Do ya know what I mean?"

And despite his initial concerns, Keoghan says the ending was ‘totally right’.
“It’s ownership,” he said. “This is my place. It’s full confidence in, ‘I can do what I want in this manor. I can strip to my barest and waltz around because this is mine.’ Yeah… it was fun.”
Saltburn is streaming on Amazon Prime now, if you’re feeling brave enough.
