Sorry if that headline made you feel old. But the chances are, you probably are old.
I know I am (29-year-old male).
Ok midlife crisis over, yes, The Incredibles (2004) is 20 years old and it became an instant classic as soon as it dropped in cinemas.
The film follows ex-superheroes Bob and Helen Parr who were once known as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, respectively.

They were forced to hide their powers in accordance with government rules, and tried to live a quiet suburban life with their three kids.
However, Mr. Incredible gets called upon for one last mission, which means he must visit his old superhero costume stylist, Edna Mode.
Having put on a few pounds since they last worked together, Edna was the only person qualified to design an appropriate outfit - with the most sass you have ever seen.
The miniature character arguably became the most iconic character throughout both films, but people are only just realising who she was voiced by.

Director and writer Brad Bird burst onto the scene with his Pixar debut.
And it turns out he was the person who voiced Edna, as, according to Bird himself, he was only a stand-in until they could find an actor to dub over the lines.
They did meet with one actor, who kept asking Bird to 'to read the line again'.

"She said, "I think you kind of got a beat on it; maybe you should just do it." And then it was like, "What? No! I'm not respectable! You're respectable!" he said.
Bird eventually relented, joking to NPR: "I was exceedingly cheap and available."
And modern-day viewers were shock.

"Such a great voice actor tho! Had no idea," a second penned.
While a third said: "Say what?!!! I an today years old too!"
Meanwhile, other millennials poked fun at how the only people who don't know this have never purchased a DVD.

"You’re only finding out about it now because you’re not old enough to have bought the DVD with audio commentary when it first came out," a fourth joked.
As someone else also thought: "Because y’all didn’t watch it on dvd. lol. They had it on the 'extras'."
The film scored a mega 97 percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and some have dubbed it the 'best superhero film of all time'.
If you're up for it, you can watch The Incredibles on Disney Plus now.
