After joking that she enjoyed her rompy threesome scene in her new flick, Zendaya has finally spoken out after an interviewer took things too far.
Sunrise's Edwina Bartholomew left everyone cringing after asking the actress an intrusive question during the promotional tour for Challengers.
Last week, the newsreader was up close and personal with the trio who were answering questions about behind the scenes and what the film meant to them.

That’s when Bartholomew asked Zendaya, 27, a very strange question which left her and fans uncomfortable.
But as always, the actress kept it classy with her response.
Asking her who the best kisser was between her co-stars, Mike Faist and Josh O'Connor, Zendaya finally addressed it.

She told Jake Hamilton when appearing on his show, Jake’s Takes: “I don't know if it's because they want it to be like a viral thing, I don't know. But I have noticed that, with me specifically.
“I feel like… If it was somebody else here, you probably wouldn’t be asked that question.”
She went on to share that kissing people was part of her job and that other people would not have been asked such invasive questions.
She continued: “Yeah, it is odd.

“Thank you for bringing that up, because I thought the same thing. I'm like, ‘This is weird’”, Zendaya added.
The Sunrise clip, began with the interviewer asking: “But who is the best kisser?”
Odd question, but we’ll move on from that.

At the time, Zendaya, who is in a long-term relationship with Spiderman’s Tom Holland, said, 'Hm?' in response, as she didn’t hear the question.
That’s when her co-star Faist jumped in to say ‘Josh’ was the better kisser and diffused the awkwardness.
Fans then took to X, formerly Twitter to slam the interviewer for her question.
One person commented on Zendaya’s reaction to the interview: “Her face when she said it”.

Another shot: “Embarrassing. Grade 3 question.”
Another said: “And Mike, it seems, recognised the lameness of the question and immediately said Josh. Love these three.”
Lastly, someone called out the hypocrisy: “They things they ask women in general are so inappropriate (and stupid). Poor Zendaya having to deal with this constantly. We need more women of color doing interviews...like YOU, Tasha! Your red carpet interviews are so good and so much fun, too. It IS possible.”
Hopefully, this is the last time she is asked such a strange question on the press tour.
