A man looking for love shocked his date when he regaled her with a tale about the time he broke his penis – explaining in yesterday’s episode of First Dates Ireland how he was ‘in a bad way’ and ‘lost a lot of blood’.
Jordan Kelly, 24, was on a date with Sasha Doran, 22, when conversation turned to family.
Sasha asked Jordan if he was close to his mother, to which he replied: “I’m very much a mummy’s boy.”
He then went on to tell her about how he tells his mum ‘a lot of stuff’ that he ‘probably shouldn’t’ - including one very NSFW injury.
“Recently, I broke my penis,” Jordan, an Uber driver from County Limerick, said.
“Like, it full on broke.
“And I was in hospital. I had to get it glued back together.”
He confessed that he called his mum to tell her what happened, adding: "I rang her and told her in grave detail exactly what happened.
"She found it more funny than anything else.”
As Sarah looked at him, stunned, Jordan continued to explain how he’d been at a student party when he got intimate with a girl he fancied.
"We were doing the thing, we were doing sex, and she decided to pull it the whole way down and she snapped my banjo string."
He added: "It was pretty bad. I was screaming in pain and I lost a lot of blood."
As the bleeding wouldn’t stop, his friends had to called an ambulance.
"We had to call an ambulance because I was in a bad way."
Jordan continued: "The worst thing was my aunt is a paramedic and so I was terrified my aunt was going to have to come and look after me with my broken penis.
"It wasn't her, thankfully."
He said the doctor at the hospital told him it was the ‘worst penis break he had ever seen in his life’, with Jordan recalling: "I had to get it glued back together, had to go for appointments to make sure it was healing properly.
“I thought there would have been scarring but, luckily enough, there's none.
"I had to wait a good while for it to heal though, and it's all back to normal, thank God.
"At the time I hated it and didn't want to know, but nothing really fazes me and it's something I can laugh about now."
Needless to say, student Sasha was fairly speechless as she heard the story, at one point simply saying: “Wow. Oh, wow.”
Incredibly, she went on to agree to another date - albeit slightly cautiously.
