Rockstar developers have shared their heartbreaking reaction to the new GTA 6 trailer after the trailer was released early due to a leak.
You can take a look at it below:
Last month, Rockstar boss Sam Houser gave the update that millions of gamers around the world have been waiting for, announcing that the first trailer for GTA VI would be arriving in 'early December'.

"We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto," Houser wrote.
"We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you."
And fans got another update on Friday (1 December), when Rockstar revealed that the release date for the first trailer would be on 5 December at 9am ET (2pm UK time).
However, fans were delighted/shocked on Monday evening (4 December) when the trailer unexpectedly dropped a day early.

Rockstar further explained in a tweet: "Our trailer has leaked so please watch the real thing on YouTube."
It seems that 24 hours before its anticipated debut, the unrealised trailer appeared on social media early on Monday afternoon and quickly spread around the internet like wildfire.
According to reports, the account was then suspended pretty fast - but the damage had already been done.

In just eight hours, 45 million people have seen the trailer, and, at the time of writing, many are liking what they're seeing so far.
But shortly after the drop, some said they felt bad for Rockstar, considering that this was the first trailer of a game that has been a decade in the making.
And as you can imagine, developers who worked on GTA 6 were absolutely gutted by the leak.

"I was hoping to watch this for the first time tomorrow along with my fellow teammates and coworkers. I feel we deserved that moment," one wrote on X.
"Gutting to take that special moment away from everyone but...I hope it was everything you all hope for and more," a second added.
"I'm actually not going to watch this until I'm in the office with the people I made this with and who worked so f**king hard to make it happen," a third commented.
And a fourth said: "This is not how I expected this......

"But I hope yall enjoy it. Feels surreal to be part of such an amazing team!"
Despite it being released a day early, the trailer still looks amazing.
Even though we didn't get a look at the gameplay, the graphics really do look out of this world.
It's set in a place very reminiscent of Vice City and we get to see a woman called Lucia star as a lead character.
She is the first-ever female lead character in Grand Theft Auto's history.
In the trailer, Lucia first appears in a prison and the final scene is her robbing a convenience store with a male lead character.
But you'll have to wait till 2025 to see what it's all about.
