The stars of Gogglebox didn't hold back with their reactions to Phillip Schofield's shocking This Morning exit in this week's episode.
The nation's favourite armchair critics returned on Friday night in another pre-recorded episode featuring the week's biggest TV moments.
Former ITV mainstay Schofield announced his departure from This Morning last Saturday, before admitting to having an affair with a younger employee in a shocking statement released on Friday evening, shortly before the Gogglebox episode aired.

The Gogglebox stars watched this week's edition of This Morning in which standby hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were tasked with confirming Schofield's departure and delivering a rather awkward and short tribute.
Mary Killen told her husband Giles: "We don't know what's going on, do we, behind the scenes."
Giles mused: "It's all very rum. It's all very rum, Nutty."

He continued: "Phil leaving the show is like a glitch in the Matrix, Mary. No one knows what the glitch is or why it's happened."
Meanwhile, Pete Sandiford joked to his sister Sophie about the tribute: "Right, now we've brushed that under the carpet on to today's show!
"Anyway! Off now to Phil Vickery with a succulent sausage casserole!"
You can always count on the Gogglebox lot to deliver the most savage lines.

In his statement provided to the Daily Mail on Friday evening, Schofield said: "I am making this statement via the Daily Mail to whom I have already apologised personally for misleading, through my lawyer who I also misled, about a story which they wanted to write about me a few days ago.
“The first thing I want to say is: I am deeply sorry for having lied to them, and to many others about a relationship that I had with someone working on This Morning.

"I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning. Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship.
"That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over."
He continued by saying he is 'painfully conscious' that he has lied to many, including those at ITV and his family.
Schofield also issued a public apology to his wife, Stephanie Lowe, saying: "I am so very, very sorry, as I am for having been unfaithful to my wife."
