Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie has just debuted a second, hilarious trailer, seeing Margot Robbie in the coveted and handsomely paid role of the doll created by Mattel, with flick now making her the highest-paid actress in Hollywood.
Featuring Ryan Gosling as Ken, the star-studded comedy boasts a big cast of multiple versions of Barbie and several male co-protagonists living in Barbie Land. Things take an unexpected turn when Robbie's Barbie is expelled from this dreamy realm for failing expectations and decides to relocate to the human world, joined by her loyal boyfriend Ken.

And it seems that the Australian star bagged a jaw-dropping paycheck to play the protagonist in the flick.

This is Robbie's highest-paid role to date, following a $9-10 million (£7.5-8.3 million) paycheck she was offered for returning as the DC villainess in the spin-off film Birds of Prey, directed by Cathy Yan.
Filming on the Barbie movie wrapped last July, with Robbie's co-star, You's Hari Nef, taking to Instagram to share a candid shot of the cast celebrating the end of production.
"It's a wrap for the Doll! see you in Barbieland," she wrote in the caption.
Earlier today (April 4), Warner Bros also released character posters for the huge ensemble, giving fans more insights into who's playing who.

Meanwhile, Gosling is joined by Marvel's Simu Liu as a rival Ken and Scott Pilgrim's Michael Cera as Ken's best friend Allan.
