Hugh Hefner once kept ‘disgusting’ brown and black books of Playmates, according to two former Playboy Bunnies who lived at the infamous mansion.

Holly Madison, 43, and Bridget Marquardt, 48, were girlfriends of Hefner in the 2000s, both regularly featuring on E! reality series Girls of the Playboy Mansion.

These days, the pair speak out about their time with Hefner in their podcast, Girls Next Level, where they share secrets from within his ‘cult-like’ menagerie of women.

In an episode released a few months back, Madison and Marquardt claimed Hefner ‘kept track’ of how many times women at the house slept with him - and whenever they asked for their allowances.

Marquardt recalled: “He would walk over to the safe and open it up, and then he had this little black book in there that he would pull out.”

The podcaster went on: “The black book kept track of a few different things.

“It kept track of when somebody collected their allowance - he would mark it off so you couldn’t ask for it twice.

“But it also kept track of who slept with him and when.”

Madison, who was just 21 when she started dating a then-75-year-old Hefner, said she ‘so badly’ wanted to ‘burn that book’ when she eventually left the house.

“I’m just so disgusted with how he [kept] a record of who he had sex with [and] on what night, and [took] all these nudes of all the girls when they’re in the limo and drunk and flashing and stuff,” she explained.

Madison claimed Hefner would print the nude images and put them ‘in a scrapbook’.

“I later found out that at that point, he planned on donating his scrapbook to a library,” she continued.

“So that was another thing that made me feel kind of weird and afraid to leave, ‘cause I felt like there was this mountain of revenge porn.”

Marquardt added: “It was just very uncomfortable asking for allowance... A lot of times, I wouldn’t ask for it for weeks at a time.”

Madison said women would be ‘given a report on how good a job they were doing’ when they went to collect the allowance, explaining: “He would pull out that book where he kept track of who he had sex with [and on] what nights, and he’d be like, ‘Oh, you’ve been on your period’."

She also remembered how Hefner would 'fake cry' when he was 'trying to get his way with a girl'.

Speaking about an argument they once had, Madison said: “He bit my head off and yelled at me and was so mean,” detailing that she’d simply made a suggestion for the living arrangements within the mansion, which he evidently hadn’t approved of.

“I ended up in tears,” she said. “And I said to him, ‘Well, clearly this relationship isn’t what I thought it was'. Cause this was after months of him lovebombing me, saying he wanted me to spend the rest of his life with him, and I can’t even have a reasonable conversation with him?”
