Jeremy Clarkson ‘ends’ partnership with Richard Hammond and James May after 21 years

Jeremy Clarkson ‘ends’ partnership with Richard Hammond and James May after 21 years

Jeremy Clarkson has reportedly called it quits with Richard Hammond and James May

Jeremy Clarkson appears to have called it quits on his working relationship with James May and Richard Hammond.

The trio have been driving cars across the world since 2002 when they all starred on BBC's Top Gear.

After the group's departure from the show, they later returned for Prime Video's The Grand Tour in 2016.

Nowadays, Clarkson is doing a little dirtier work these days with his Prime Video show Clarkson’s Farm, where he shows off how life as a farmer in the UK really is.

He also recently started a new venture with his pub, Hawkstone Arms.

But it appears that Clarkson, Hammond and May have come to the end of the road as far as working together.

According to MailOnline, the presenters reportedly approved to dissolve W Chump and Sons, which is the production house for The Grand Tour, on 11 June.

The application was reportedly made to Companies House, which is the official governmental body that approves startups and new business ventures, as well as the dissolution of companies.

So, if you thought you’d be seeing Clarkson, Hammond and May together once he stopped mucking around with cows and pigs, then hope could be potentially lost.

LADbible has reached out to the representatives of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond for comment.

Clarkson recently spoke to LADbible about the difference between filming his farming show and his tour with his mates - and it’s not what you’d expect.

According to the star, nothing on the farm is planned - in comparison to The Grand Tour.

"And none of it's planned. I mean The Grand Tour, everything was planned, literally everything, you know, ‘Richard move your eyebrow that much’," he said.

"Nothing is planned on this, nothing, I have no script.

"And every single day when we meet to do filming, every day, we'll have a vague idea of what we need to do, like I need to re-drill this field, we're doing season four now, so I need to redraw that field because I did it wrong the first time and I need to do this, I need to do that.

"So we'll meet actually tomorrow to do that."

“I don't have time to pretend to be someone else. You see, The Grand Tour, Richard Hammond isn't as stupid as he's made out." he added.

"I'm not as bombastic as it's made out, and James May isn't quite as boring as is made out. And so you're playing a caricature, you're playing a role, you know, you're there to provoke, you know, be stupid."
