Joe Lycett thanked everyone he's burned in the last year while accepting his National Comedy Award.

The comedian took to the stage at the Channel 4 event tonight (17 February) where he was given the Comedy Game Changer accolade.

And anyone who knows anything about Lycett's career thus far won't be surprised to know that his acceptance speech featured as much roasting as a Sunday dinner.

He kicked off by thanking Liz Truss, saying, "Couldn't have done it without you, babe," before moving on to Hugo Boss for designing those 'lovely Nazi uniforms'.

To refresh your memory, Lycett temporarily changed his name to 'Hugo Boss' as a protest against the fashion label, which he claims costs small companies and charities thousands by taking legal action against them if they adopt a similar brand name.

Lycett then turned his attention to the disgraced BBC chairman Richard Sharp, saying cheers for the 'loan you gave me'.

Oh, and he also gave a shoutout to the lawyers at Channel 4, who no doubt had their work cut out for them.

Classic Joe, eh?
