John Travolta has posted a touching tribute to his late son, Jett, on what would have been his 30th Birthday.
The 16-year-old had history of seizures linked to his autism was declared dead in hospital after hitting his head in the bathroom in the midst of an attack in 2009.
Over a decade later, Travolta tragically lost his wife, Kelly Preston, who had been battling breast cancer for the two years prior.

On his personal Instagram page, the actor shared a sweet picture of him cuddling his young son, with the caption reading: "My dearest Jetty, I miss you more than words can say. I think about you everyday. Happy Birthday. Love, your Dad."
Jett passed away after suffering a seizure while on a family holiday in the Bahamas.
Fans of the 68-year-old flooded the comment section with supportive messages, as well as birthday wishes for Jett.

One Instagram user wrote: "Precious pictures and memories," while another replied: "Nothing worse than losing a child. I feel your pain. So sorry."
"Happy Birthday to your beautiful son Jetty. He is celebrating with the angels and his mama," a different follower typed.
Following his son's death, the Grease star set up the Jett Travolta Foundation in 2009, a charitable organsation which aims to support children with special needs.

Jett was his eldest of three children, with Ella Bleu and Benjamin being born shortly after.
As was previously mentioned, Travolta has been beset by tragedy in his later years, with wife Kelly passing in 2020 at the age of just 57.
After her death, Travolta also shared a heartfelt tribute to his long-time partner on social media.
"My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Centre, all the medical centres that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side," he wrote.

"Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.
"But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal. All my love, JT."
